EastEnders (BBC1, 8pm) Peggy’s death march continues as she wages her losing battle with cancer and decides against more treatment. “Aren’t I worth living for?” enquired her raging alcoholic son Phil. Since you ask, Phil, no you’re not. Are you liking Peggy’s final return to Albert Square? Or is it all too depressing?
Coronation Street (ITV, 7.30 and 8.30pm) Nick announces the wedding is off. Even worse… so’s the stag do. Are there finally signs that the cobblestones crew are raising their game? Or is Weatherfield still Soapland’s answer to Sleepy Hollow?
The Secret (ITV, 9pm) Episode three of the haunting drama based on a real life story of adultery, murder and intrigue. Convinced that God is punishing him for his many sins, dastardly dentist Colin splits from his accomplice Hazel. Are you gripped?
The Windsors (Channel 4, 10pm) After last week’s horrendously unfunny hour long launch, the soft hitting royal spoof returns for more laugh-free alleged satire. Do you agree that this unsophisticated tosh is a missed opportunity to properly send-up the Queen and her cosseted clan? Or do you think it’s hilarious?
Mum (BBC2, 10pm) From the team behind BBC3’s Him & Her, a comedy about a grieving widow trying to rebuild her life while dealing with her crap family. Woohoo! Episode one… the funeral. I can’t say I loved it. Lesley Manville’s good as Mum… but everyone else is an over-written stereotype. Am I right or wrong? Let us know.
