I have really started to enjoy Friday Night Dinner, having previously dismissed it as another twee comedy. But, there really are some laugh out loud moments, especially with the creepy neighbour Jim and his less creepy dog Wilson. Tamsin Greig is perfect as the Jewish mother of two childish adult sons, trying to keep things real for so long before allowing situations descend into chaos.

This week's episode about the funeral of an uncle was hilarious: Martin's nasty cabinet smashing mother making unreasonable demands, Jim turning up at the graveside with his dog and some black balloons, and Jonny listening to formula 1 on his phone whilst helping to carry and then drop the coffin.

No prizes for guessing what happened when the coffin lid flew off in front of a starving German Shepherd.
