Gogglesprogs

Well what a revelation and inspiration beyond my imagination.

Gogglesprogs is the kids' version of Gogglebox where we watch real families being couch potatoes and making very telling comments on the programmed they're being force fed by Channel 4 to watch.

What is startlingly obvious and sad is how much better it is to watch the kids version as we are presented with humanity at its most beautiful. Because of their youth they are still wonderfully uncorrupted in the brain department. Their comments are spot on most of the time. The wit, honesty and lack of judgement for their fellow humans is such a gigantic eye opener.

If only we all could be so caring, open, sensitive compassionate the world would truly be a better place.

Every show they watch someone nails it usually with one word.

An beautiful example is the show where two people sit across a table on their first date ever with anyone.

The silence is just deafening - the camera cuts to a close up of a little girl maybe 7 or 8 blessed with the most exquisite face - all sparkling eyes tiny teeth and a brilliant smile - she looks intensely at the screen and you can see she is feeling their discomfort so intently she just shouts out in a very sweet way

"Awkwaaaaaaaard"

And catches the moment so succinctly I'm tempted to use the words - the perfect home run - aghhhh shaddup

Then there's the autustic man having a trial at a job fir the first time in his life - it's terribly sad and all the children are hanging on for dear life when he stands up to Make a speech at the end to all his fellow workers.

They all immediately clap loudly when he manages to get through it without buckling to the ground or running out of the room in terrior they are all in separate houses across the U.K. And yet they all have the exact same reaction without even thinking They all clapped loudly and had to squire their eyes to stop from crying with joy.

Watching these kids interact with their friends and siblings gives me hope for the future - I only hope or maybe I should be saying I wish we didn't have to grow up and become unknowingly more stupid, less compassionate, more judgmental even cruel sometimes, unthinking and sadly worst of all less articulate and more than anything less aware of our fellow humans.

If people really behaved like these children what a wonderful world it really would be!
