Coronation Street’s corner shop lothario Dev is horrified when he wakes up in bed with his children’s nanny Mary.

The bizarre drama unfolds when the owner of the corner shop books a spa weekend for himself and his girlfriend Erica Holyroyd, but she has to cancel at the last minute because her mother has a medical emergency.

Naturally, Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) doesn’t even consider cancelling the mini break and driving his lover to the hospital. Instead he asks needy Mary (Patti Clare) to come with him instead.

When they get to the hotel, they are surprised to discover that not only do they have to share a room, but also the same bed. But still they carry on regardless.

The odd couple decide to make the most of it and book lots of treatments with hilarious results. Dev’s back wax leaves him in such agony that he empties the mini bar and gets ridiculously drunk.

And when he wakes up with a stonking hangover the next morning, he is alarmed to find Mary in his arms. Viewers of this Wednesday's episode will be left wondering whether or not Dirty Dev did the dirty deed. Surely not?
