Stumbled across this show by accident...much like how the actors appear to have approached  their scripts.

On the case: Clare-Hope Ashitey, James Murray and Damien Molony

Stumbled across this show by accident...much like how the actors appear to have approached their scripts. It's all supposed to sound like natural speech, but I found the improvised dialogue, liberally smattered with.......unnatural pauses, and too many umms and aahs, a bit annoying - to the point that I wanted to smash my tv.

I also wondered how that guy from Silks had got involved, as he's a very good actor, normally. However, the strangest thing about this programme is the fact that despite it being like an am-dram version of The Sweeney, (and despite the fact that the production budget couldn't run to a steadycam) it has sown some kind of gnawing interest in me, which, against my better judgement, will almost certainly result in me watching next week's episode - unless I watch this episode again, on demand, and end up totalling the TV.
