Celebrity First Dates: Jo Wood and her Ronnie look alike

The Proms (BBC2, 7.30pm) Katie Derham returns from Strictly to her day job as the annual celebration of live classical music kicks off at the Royal Albert Hall. This year marks 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare and Katie introduces pieces dedicated to the playwright. Argentinian Sol Gabetta will play Elgar's Cello Concerto.

Celebrity MasterChef (BBC1, 8.30pm) The remaining minor stars not only have to suffer the scrutiny of gastro-hosts John Torode and Gregg “Two Minutes!” Wallace, but they also have their dishes taste tested by former contestants Christopher Biggins, Lisa Faulkner and Christine Hamilton.

Celebrity First Dates  (Channel 4, 9pm) Ordinary Boy Samuel Preston, Gogglebox critic Scarlett Moffatt and Pudsey’s trainer Ashleigh Butler are looking for love with hilarious results. Also in the romantic restaurant is rock chick Jo Wood who is stunned when she is introduced to her date who is the spit of her ex Rolling Stone Ronnie.

Big Brother Eviction Massacre  (Channel 5, 9pm)  The climax of annihilation week will see several of the housemates booted out of the house. With just over a week to go until the final, Emma Willis will be delivering the fatal blows to the self-obsessed losers.
