What to watch and review on Monday, July 25.
Eden
EastEnders (BBC1, 8pm) Wannabe undertaker Paul is still dead.
Coronation Street (ITV, 7.30 and 8.30pm) Former prostitute Leanne is still pregnant.
Eden (Channel 4, 9pm) Episode two of an alleged social experiment in which 23 people struggle to survive in a remote corner of the Scottish Highlands. Just to help them along, our intrepid heroes have been given sheep, pigs, goats, chickens, vegetable plants, seeds, a huge well-stocked tool shed, a vast range of fishing equipment and rifles to hunt with. While the randy younger campers cop off with each other, rugged “adventurer” Anton infuriates the rest of the gang by building his own cabin.
Brief Encounters (ITV, 9pm) Everyone’s favourite summer drama continues as the Ann Summers sales-ladies run into more problems in 1980s Sheffield. Warning: may contain saucy lingerie and marital aids.
Forces Of Nature With Brian Cox (BBC1, 9pm) Having run out of far-flung exotic places to go, the Prof concludes his globe-trotting series. Tonight he’s off to Iceland to check out a moonbow and Tanzania to see how the sun transforms the plains of the Serengeti. Cool.
Naked Attraction (Channel 4, 10pm) A bold new dating show in which singletons choose potential partners based purely on their nude bodies, which are revealed to them one part at a time. Once the lonely hearts make their decision, they too take all their clothes off. No one knows why. Host Anna Richardson insists there’s a point to all this. If you can work out what the hell it is, answers on a postcard please.
