Meanwhile, dim Eileen resigns from Street Cars to concentrate on her new career as the proud owner of a Phelan’s phantom housing project. Good luck with that…

Cold Feet (ITV, 9pm) Jenny is shocked when an old flame from her New York days arrives in Manchester still holding a candle for her. After splitting from Angela, Adam vows to bond with Matt. And dodgy David continues to deny that he knew his overseas investments were questionable. Sadly, he’s lying through his teeth.

Morgana Robinson’s The Agency (BBC2, 10pm) More of the mimic’s not-very-good Natalie Cassidy impression and her even worse Danny Dyer. In fairness, she does some pretty decent take-offs. But the dismal script is about as funny as a wet Monday morning.
