The Missing: is this Sophie?

This Time Next Year (ITV, 8pm) Davina meets a couple who share their story of their desperate struggle to conceive and an amputee who is hoping to walk again. Will they both succeed in their mission? Find out in the time it takes host Davina McCall moves from one door to another, wearing the same dress as she did in 2015. It’s called continuity.

The Missing (BBC1, 9pm) Julien’s (Tcheky Karyo) investigation leads him further into the murky underbelly of Eckhausen. He speaks to the lead suspect in the abduction of Alice and is surprised at what he uncovers. The Webster family drift even further apart as Matthew becomes involved with violent thugs. The pace of this complicated, but spellbinding drama really takes off. Try to keep up at the back of the class.
