The Durrells

SATURDAY

Can’t Touch This (BBC1, 5.25pm) Despite total apathy, Zoe Ball’s Total Wipeout rip-off is still going. No one knows why.

Bang On The Money (ITV, 7pm) Bland and confusing game show that isn’t doing the business. If you care, catch it while you can. Because it won’t last.

Michael McIntyre’s Big Show (BBC1, 7.05pm) The comedian’s prank-filled variety spectacular filmed at London’s Theatre Royal is working. Big guests, big surprises, big ratings.

Britain’s Got Talent (ITV, 8pm) Ten years old and still going strong. Simon’s circus continues with another night of predictable end-of-the-pier fun.

SUNDAY

The Durrells (ITV, 8pm) Light and trite on a Sunday night, this amusing saga of eccentric Brits abroad is a smash hit.

Undercover (BBC1, 9pm) Delivering a text book lesson in how to drop the ball after The Night Manager, this dreary drama reaches its penultimate episode. So right-on it hurts.
