Dark Angel (ITV, 9pm) The concluding instalment of this two part drama features the downfall of Britain’s first female serial killer Mary Ann Cotton (Joanne Froggatt) as her prolific murder spree is finally rumbled. But not before her latest potential husband James announces her can’t marry because it would upset his children. Which, with Mary in the house, is like sentencing them to death.
