This is an uncomfortable true story in three parts about the grooming of three schoolgirls in Rochdale.

The script is sharp and strong. Every performance is good of special note is Maxine Peak flying as a sexual health worker and Ria Zmitrowicz and Liv Hill as two of the three girls.

Hard viewing. Important viewing BUT was it necessary to make these programmes?

Having read and heard about the Court cases on all forms of media, does this take the story any further?

I was left feeling battered and not having learnt anything new and I felt however well intentioned there was a feeling that these girls stories were being exploited at least for a small part for the sake of Drama.

Will I watch the next 2 parts? No.

Will I advise others to watch the next 2 parts? Yes, but only if you don't know the story.
