SATURDAY
Strictly Come Dancing (BBC1, 6.50pm) With just one week to go welcome to semi-final night as the last four dance for a place in the grand finale. The tension is almost too much to bear.
The X Factor (ITV, 8pm) The penultimate clash of the karaoke titans as the remaining three wannabes battle it out to make tomorrow’s final. One loser must go. Who will it be? Tune in and find out. Nail-biting stuff.
SUNDAY
Strictly Come Dancing: The Results (BBC1. 7.20pm) Warning: contains musical performance by Sting. Plus, the last elimination before next week’s crowning of the champion.
The X Factor Results (ITV, 8pm) Here it is…. episode 32! At long last we find out the winner of this year’s underperforming series. With contributions from dad dancing host Dermot O’Leary and the four geriatric judges of the apocalypse. Okay, Nicole isn’t that ancient but apart her the panel is like an old people’s home. After the worst ratings in X Factor history, where did it all go wrong?
Planet Earth II (BBC2, 8pm) The final episode of David Attenborough’s wildlife spectacular showcases the adaptable animals that thrive in big cities. This awesome series has smashed The X Factor in the ratings war. Are you surprised?
Christmas At The Chateau (Channel 4, 8pm) More contrived panic just for the cameras as British ex pats Dick and Angel Strawbridge rush to get their French chateau ready in time for the festive season and the arrival of their relatives. Ooh la la.
