Tonight's TV tips: Question Time: Leaders Special, Corrie and EastEnders
What to watch and review on Friday, June 2.
EastEnders (BBC1, 8pm) With a bitter battle brewing at the pumps, the Queen Vic’s ousted landlord Mick prepares for a make or break business meeting with his new corporate boss Fi. Can he get the pub back? No. Next question.
Question Time: Leaders Special (BBC1, 8.30pm) Another strange non-confrontation as Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn agree to be in the same building but not in the same debate. David Dimbleby presides as the two leaders take turns to fend off questions from the hand-picked studio audience. Play the cliché drinking game and knock back a snifter every time Mother Theresa says “strong and stable”, “coalition of chaos” or “the only poll that matters is on June 8th”. You’ll be drunk within ten minutes.
Coronation Street (ITV, 9pm) A mad dash to nasty Nathan’s tanning salon after Bethany disappears into the bedroom with three seedy men. But will worried mum Sarah get there in time? Meanwhile, fresh from his not-drowning drama, is furrow-browed Nick ready to leave Weatherfield and never come back? If not, why not?
